My name is Olalekan OA Akinyele (alter ego: Lexain).

I'm a multi-hyphenate and advocate for creatives. I believe that design can solve most of the world’s problems.

Founder of Xaine Ingenius (Africa’s craft-driven design company) operating in Lagos & Abuja, a student of history, an observer of human behaviour, and an apostle of Human-Centered Design. With this, I lead a collective of craftspeople who craft with context for people and businesses.

When I am not too busy, I teach young creatives, designers, and entrepreneurs about the application of design to help improve the quality of their work, career, life, and society through a capacity-building platform called Think Like A Designer.

I am a trained sneaker designer, a shoemaker who is in love with product design, product management, product marketing, leatherwork, sports branding, technology, traveling, and entertainment.

I have been privileged to build an award-winning and well-published communication art and design career at several creative agencies.

I love to teach.

I have three great kids from a wonderful woman.
